After The Day\'s Job
$11,500.00
After The Day's Job offers a poignant, deeply intimate glimpse into the lived realities of youthful labor and quiet brotherhood. The composition centers on three boys resting upon stacked worn tires after hours of toil. Their posture, calloused limbs, and scattered sandals echo the physical gravity of daily hustle, the energetic swirl of textural lines and luminous highlights imbues the space with dignity, communal warmth, and unspoken dreams. It stands as a powerful testament to survival, youth, and the enduring human spirit in urban African life.

Artist Statement
Rooted in my sculptural background, my practice harnesses the raw, tactile authenticity of charred wood charcoal to interrogate contemporary African identity, resilience, and communal life. Through deliberate contrasts of shadow and texture, I capture the emotional pulse of everyday realities, preserving cultural heritage while illuminating enduring human hope.
