Awaits
$11,500.00
Capturing the quiet suspense and enduring patience of open-market enterprise, Awaits depicts two female vendors seated beside their bountiful basins of marketplace goods. The rich, colorful Ankara-patterned garments worn by the vendors contrast sharply against the charcoal backdrop, drawing the eye immediately to their poised composure. The piece highlights the vital, central role women play in local economic commerce—conveying themes of perseverance, maternal labor, watchful anticipation, and the rhythm of daily trade.
